Australia’s only ADHD-specific tutoring centre, in-person and online.
We teach students with ADHD how to get their work done so they can start achieving their potential.
a tailored plan to unlock the potential behind ADHD.
Our focus is building study skills and practical ability, learned through tailored tutoring for each individual and how their ADHD brain learns. We're not coaches or consultants. We have a team of private tutors, who themselves have ADHD and have overcome the challenges of studying. Through this combination of experience and qualifications, we help others like us achieve their potential too.

“I started ADHD Tutoring because I wish something like it existed when I was young”
James Upton, Founder
ADHD Tutoring Australia was founded since there wasn’t a truely hands on support program for students struggling with ADHD. There was lots of ‘support’ out there, none of it highly effective. Our aim is to stand out amongst a sea of grifters in the ADHD support space, as a group that creates real and lasting change for our students.
Our journey has been anything but ordinary. Through every step, we've focused on staying true to our values, creating real change for people so they don’t have to keep coming back.
As members of the Australian Tutoring Association (ATA), we follow their Member Code of Conduct.
How it Works
We break work down into simple, manageable parts so students feel less overwhelmed. We focus on the student developing this skill one step at a time, so they can tackle greater challenges at school or university.
Study Skills
One area we pride ourselves in is helping students write essays. We both provide feedback on current essays and teach the skills and structure needed for students to write better essays in future.
Essay Support
With our term program, students can join our group study sessions throughout the week. Both in-person at our offices, and joinable online. Students can sit and work through whatever they need to with one of our tutors there ensuring they stay on task.
A Place To Get Work Done
Another focus is on teaching students how to take notes effectively in class. Depending on the student, we’ll teach one of a number of note taking techniques that are ADHD friendly. We then follow up by teaching students what they can actually do to revise for exams with notes.

Common Questions
-
The free intake is designed for parents and students to learn more about ADHD Tutoring and determine if it’s right for them. If you don’t feel like we’re a good fit, we’d rather know early to save both your time and ours.
-
ADHD Tutoring is design for students who really need help, not for those looking to go from a 98 to a 99 atar. If you are looking for subject specific support we have a range of partners we can suggest. But if the biggest problem is just doing the work in the first place, that’s where we come in.
We always operate in one-on-one settings to minimise distractions and to build rapport, and we personalise our tutoring to each individual to help struggling students build the foundations for success. -
If you’re not happy with the tutoring you’re receiving you can email us to request a refund. For week-to-week tutoring we only ask that you pay for the sessions you’ve already done, with refund requests made during or after a session being denied.
For term programs, we have a one week grace period at the beginning of each term where you can request a full refund. After the first week, refunds will given at 50% of the total cost of the term, since you have taken a spot in our program we cannot replace. No refund requests made in the final 2 weeks of or after the conclusion of a given term program will be granted.
